Mount Iceember

Far to the North, there rises a lone volcano that once erupted with hot magma, smoke, and destruction. Fiery destruction rained down on the surrounding permafrost for miles and miles. Now the mountain is frozen in mid-eruption. Ice now coats the lava formations where it has hardened in stone. Even the very flames in the heart of the volcano have been frozen, solid and extremely chilly to the touch. Lava tubes now exude waves of coldness instead of heat.
Not far from the volcano, a band of ice gnolls have settled in a large labyrinth nestled into the canyon wall of a deep valley. This labyrinth consists of a series of ice ramps inside a large ice cave with their village located at the very top of the structure. The gnolls travel to Mount Iceember, offering sacrifices to their frozen gnoll god
