The Drow

“If the darkness will not fill your spirits, it shall engulf your bodies, fools!!” – Lloth the Temptress

In ages past, the drow used to live in harmony with their elven kin. The elves fell under the temptation of the Dark Temptress, Lloth. Lloth began to twist the elves into twisted images of themselves and they began to forget the teachings of the Father of Forests, Corellon Larethian. Upset with his people, Corellon Larethian felt moved to destroy his people and their wickedness. The drow asked Corellon to forgive his people for their evil deeds. After hearing the desperate pleas of the drow, Corellon was moved. He relented and allowed his people to begin anew after hearing the oaths of fealty by the drow. Elves flourished in this new age in the Elven Nation. Lloth, upset with the drow’s pleas to Corellon, cursed them, turning their skin dark. The elves turned upon the ones that brought them salvation and renewal. In fear of their lives, the drow fled deep into the earth, living in hiding, but always secretly the favored children of Corellon Larethian.
